This is a specialist scythe lawn mower suitable for meadows, orchards and wild gardens. It has hardened ESM blades fitted as standard with a hinged guide system to ensure a longer life. The height of the blade is also adjustable.

As an additional safety feature, protection on the edges prevent the cutting blades from damaging walls, fences and border stones when in operation.

DR Scout Heavy Duty Rough Grass Mower

The DR Scout rough grass mower is in a class of its own. The Scout is simply a scaled down version of the larger Field and Brush mowers from the DR stable. The DR Scout also uses a comercial duty clutch system and chain drive enabling the user to power through that long grass and scrub.

This Scout mower will tackle grass lengths of twelve inches, saplings of 3/4 of an inch and weeds up to three feet.

This DR field and brush mower is the larger version of the DR Scout, featuring the larger 11.5hp OHV Industrial Commercial engine and a 26" width of cut, lockable differential, electric clutch, and a pivoting cutting deck allowing the blade to follow the contours of the ground.

This DR mower also features electric start, an extra large fuel tank, and a disc brake allowing the operator to park the machine safely when working on an incline.
